Bring 'em

Build 'em

Train 'em

Send 'em
Bringing people in: Jesus said at the home of Zacchaeus that he came to Seek and to Save
that which was lost. Our scriptural commission is to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ. Are
you bringing people to hear the gospel? Do your family members, neighbors, friends and
co-workers know Jesus? Bring them in! Share your testimony, invite them to Sunday School,
bring them with you to Worship. We must have a vision for reaching the lost.

Building people up: We also have a role of edifying and encouraging believers to become part
of our fellowship and grow closer to Jesus. Are you an encourager or discourager? When other
believers see you, do they see a faithful Christian or an apathetic hypocrite? Read Ephesians
4:12

Training them: One thing we often forget is that training ourselves in the Word to stay strong in
our faith and share our faith with others is a vital part of Christian growth. We need to be taught
the scriptures and teach others as well. We must know how to share our faith and be trained for
service. Are you studied up and ready to serve? Review Colossians 4:2-6

Sending them out: The ministry that Jesus began and called the church was all about Life
Change. Giving people a purpose and passion helped build great excitement among the twelve
disciples and the crowds that followed Jesus. What a difference the community sees when
someone who does not profess Christ has a salvation experience with Him, then goes and
tells others what Jesus has done. This phenomenon is the heart of the New Testament and
should be the purpose of every church. Matthew 28:19-20
Our church fellowship supports a new vision for the future and direction of our church. It is an exciting
plan!

Our vision at FBC Bushnell if to become a healthy church by:
Bringing people in
Building people up
Training them
And sending them out for the Glory of God.
We Have A Vision
"For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."
Luke 19:10
Where do you fit in this vision?
